Honey Locust wood is dense and heavy, may be difficult to work yet features beautiful grain.
White oak, recovered from near the property of author Thornton Burgess in Hampden, MA. The tree was known as the "Mother Westwind Tree", in honor of the local teacher who would dress in costume and read those stories to children gathered under its branches.
Ash trees are disappearing from our landscape as the Emerald Ash Borer destroys many of their species. This lumber came from trees downed in the 2011 tornado and microburst.
Cherry is an abundant wood in our local forests. This material was locally sourced, dried, milled and fabricated, as are all our products.
